Description
This purse is made from leather, wooden handle and an adinkra pendant that hangs in the front of the bag. Adinkra are symbols that represent concepts or aphorisms. Adinkra are used extensively in fabrics and pottery among the Ashantis of Ashanti Kingdom from Ghana.
The symbols have a decorative function but also represent objects that encapsulate evocative messages that convey traditional wisdom, aspects of life or the environment. There are many different symbols with distinct meanings, often linked with proverbs.
The beautiful leather makes this bag an ideal bag to compliment every outfit.. The base of the bag is about 17 inches in length with a width of 7 inches and a height of 9.5 inches from the base to the handle.
