Obaa gets its name from its beautiful curves that give it a very feminine look. Obaa in twi  (Local Ghanaian Dialect) means female. The pouch is made from colourful kente fabric with a bronze tone kiss clasp handle. The pouch has a base of  10 inches, width of 3 inches and a height of 5inches. This bag is made from handwoven kente fabrics woven in the Ashanti Region and the Volta Region of Ghana, a bronze frame.

Kente fabric is made from silk and cotton fabric. The fabric is hand woven by mainly the Akans and Ewes in Ghana. This fabric is worn by almost every Ghanaian tribe. It is a royal and sacred cloth worn only in times of extreme importance and was the cloth of kings. Over time, the use of kente became more widespread. Obaa is a cute pouch that will light up any outfit for that special occasion and can add a unique touch to any outfit.
